Till the water keeps on running

A contemporary Fairy-tale looking into themes of family and sibling dynamics.

Till the water keeps on running was a contemporary telling of an original Fairy-tale.  Inspired by tradition Celtic and Polish folk tales the piece explores the fictional story of the first ever waterfall and how it came to be.  The piece was created in collaboration with Indie artist Wiktoria Amanda and was a fusion of heritage.

The piece was multilingual, using both English and Polish to tell the story of Two sisters and how their rivalry caused destruction and beauty.  The overall themes focused on the dynamics between older and younger siblings, and fear of parental disappointment.  Till the water keeps on running combined elements of movement and music, with a 'fairytale-esque' narrator telling the story to the audience.  It featured original music written by both myself and Amanda.
