It's not a love story was an autobiographical piece that looked at themes of grooming and childhood sexual abuse.  It was framed as a love letter from the performer to someone that they miss in their life.  The letter is written in a way that implies that the connection between the two is one of romance, until the ending when it revealed that the connection was actual familial, being between a parent and child.
